The Revenue Cycle Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for the recovery of costs for medical care through the billing of third party payers specifically Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial carriers.


This role is located in the Framingham, MA HealthDrive office. The Revenue Cycle Office Assistant must be available for a fully in-person position. The starting pay rate range for this role is $17.00-22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support for claims and statement submissions in a timely manner to minimize DSO
  • Organization and filing of departmental records as required
  • Identify and investigate statement issues to resolution/payment
  • Data entry, as required
  • Work professionally with facilities, responsible parties, insurance carriers and all internal and external customers and clients
  • Be a resource for billing department staff and other Company departments
  • Provide support in handling inbound phone calls
  • Attend meetings as necessary
  • Other duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate or necessary

Qualifications

  • Education requirement: associate's degree or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, lift up to 10 lbs occasionally in an office setting, and be comfortable using standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, phones, fax machines, etc.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.
