The Clinical Documentation Specialist is responsible for the effective procurement and follow-up on documentation required for products and services to be rendered to patients in the Houston, Texas area. This is a driving position and requires a good driving record as well as reliable transportation.

This individual must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. The Clinical Documentation Specialist must be a creative problem-solver and have the ability to follow up consistently and diligently. Be highly organized and professional. Have an ability to pay close attention to detail. Be comfortable in speaking with providers, vendors, customers, and responsible parties as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to navigate in all HealthDrive operating systems. This individual should be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Education & Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, the individual must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record; travel potential based on market conditions. Ability to use office equipment such as computer, phone, copier, as well as interactive computer software.
